|  JetStream Console Engine Advanced Features into Compact Unit NAB 2010, Booth C2636 -- Logitek Logitek Electronic Systems, Inc. demonstrated the company’s JetStream Mini IP console engine and IP networking system in multiple displays at the company’s NAB booth. The JetStream Mini features a dense, 64-channel user-configurable audio I/O node that handles all console functions as well as IP audio networking duties. Audio mixing, routing and processing are accomplished in a single fanless, convection cooled two rack unit enclosure. I/O is fully configurable; users can mix and match analog and digital I/O cards for the ideal combination of source and destination combinations including mics, CD players, speakers and more. Incorporating Logitek’s JetNet network conduit, the JetStream permits direct network transfer of audio from hard disk playout systems and other Logitek JetNet partners without the use of sound cards. ”With our high I/O density, configuration capability, on-board mix-minus, and built-in redundancy, the JetStream Mini is ideal for Radio stations of all sizes, as well as some TV applications,” said Tag Borland, Logitek president. “Plus, with our direct StudioHub+® interface, wiring the JetStream to the rest of your facility is both fast and easy.” A single JetStream Mini supports 32 faders shared between one to four consoles; ample GPI/O is provided for operational controls of equipment; dual Gb Ethernet ports provide fast, reliable networking; four USB ports are supplied for memory sticks, pointers or other devices; a VGA port is provided for Logitek’s vScreen controller or other devices. |
