| Lamppost Pizza Serves Up Pi Products Santa Ana, California, February 2005 — Large Screen Displays Projected Images Pi Products are creating a visual appetite for the patrons of Lamppost Pizza in Vista, California. Spinitar, an Audio Visual systems integrator in the Los Angeles area, recently installed a 90” (54” h x 72” w) Rear-projection screen and mirror-mount with flanking CRTs for all to view. Spinitar’s CEO, Jay Rogina, proclaims, “The Rear-projection room could be considered a Rear-projection cubby rather than a Rear-projection room, and we enjoyed the challenge of designing a system in such a small enclosure. We contacted Large Screen Displays to offer their expertise in Rear-projection.” Randy Pagnan, Principal of Large Screen Displays states, “This was a very interesting install because we had to create a 4’ ˝” x 6’ viewing screen in only 35 inches of Rear-projection room space. Our engineering department worked with Spinitar to design the ideal Rear-projection mount.” Pagnan adds, “With the Sharp projector @ 4000 lumens, the 90” PiRO Projected Images Rear Optical Screen displays over 500 foot Lamberts.” The PiRO screen is framed with Large Screen Displays’ EZ Trim 3 Frame, and the projector is housed in the PiRM Projected Images Rear-projection Mount. Lamppost Pizza serves up sandwiches, salads, appetizers, and a myriad of pizzas, including a “make your own” pizza. They have locations in California and Texas. Danny Barro, owner of the Lamppost Vista location, states, “The projection screen and side televisions enhance our customers’ enjoyment of our facilities. We project sporting events as well as allow re-plays of hometown games. I was impressed with the way Spinitar and Large Screen Displays were able to install such a big screen in a small area of real estate.” |
