Winsted's New Rack Mount KVM Drawer Offers Compact, Convenient Control
MINNEAPOLIS, February 6, 2008— Winsted Corporation now offers a convenient way for
broadcast, security, NOC, and IT operators to monitor and control key system
functions from even the most compact space. The new Winsted 12001 KVM Drawer
components include a 17-inch LCD monitor, PS/2 keyboard and touchpad mouse
that stores in an attractive 1RU (1.75-inch) drawer that can be mounted in
virtually all Winsted vertical racks and most consoles.
The Winsted KVM Drawer includes a variety of video inputs for monitoring of
computers, digital video recorders, analog cameras and consumer electronics
equipment. A built-in on-screen display shows connection type and other
adjustment information. The flip-up design allows proper adjustment of viewing
angle for a variety of mounting heights. A self-contained power supply
eliminates the low voltage “brick” common to other rack mounted KVM’s.
A world leader in technical furniture and interior design for more than 40
years, Winsted creates ergonomic workspaces that are both efficient and
beautiful. Winsted’s diverse product line includes custom and standard rack
cabinets, broadcast and security consoles, command centers and tape/data
storage systems.
