and telecommunications, announced today the appointment of Paul Hansil as Vice
President Global Sales & Marketing. Paul Hansil is yet another key addition to
Modulus Video's already impressive roster of recognized industry leaders.
Paul has been at the forefront of the transition to digital broadcast systems, holding significant executive positions at major industry innovators including Scientific Atlanta, Ampex, Abekas, Quantel, Accom and Pinnacle Systems. Paul also is an experienced pioneer in applying digital broadcast technology, having served as President and COO of Crawford Communications located in Atlanta, Georgia during its rapid expansion. Crawford Communications is the leading independent satellite transmission and production services provider in the southeastern United States. Bob also brings more than thirty years of extensive industry domain experience having held significant sales executive positions with industry leaders including: Tandberg Television, Divicom (Harmonic Lightwave) , Grass Valley Group and Ampex. Having helped launch the first MPEG-2 broadcast encoders over 10 years ago, Bob is well versed in helping customers grasp the potential of new digital broadcast technology and assisting them as they integrate innovative solutions such as Modulus Video's award winning AVC technology.
