A new reference for high-end mixing consoles: The mc²90
Size and power, flexibility and dependability, an intuitive control surface and ergonomic design – the mc²90 sets new standards in all these areas.
Optimum Control thanks to Maximum Flexibility.
The mc²90 offers a modular central control section that enables you to position the most significant modules exactly where you want them, so that you may access them more easily. In addition, external control devices can be integrated smoothly into the mc²90 control surface – from up to 5U in the clever integration of a 19’’ rack to Danner modules that can be fitted in the meterbridge as well as on the control surface.
Decentralised Central Operation.
The mc²90 excels with its innovative operating philosophy that meets the highest demands of functionality and user-friendliness. A core item in this philosophy is a completely new decentralised control operation function that gives you maximum control anytime and in any situation. This allows you to transfer control of central functions to anywhere on the console.
Be on the safe side.
With the mc²90 we have reached a new level in the redundancy structure: the Lawo-developed “Double Star Technology” has now found its way into mixing console design. With this double star technology within the control surface, Lawo has established a further milestone in reliability and redundancy, and sets new standards in the design of mixing consoles and HD cores.
Form Follows Function.
Intelligent use of colour and style, and the open design of all the audio modules, gives the user a fantastic overview, even in critical live situations. Thanks to their clever visual design, EQs and dynamics in the centre section can be distinguished from one another at one glance, and designations on the individual audio modules are almost superfluous.
mc²66 broadcast and production console
Lawo’s showcase will include the mc² 66 HD broadcast, production and live console. Due to its lightweight construction, low power consumption and compact dimensions, the mc²66 is ideally suited for OB vans, studios, broadcast and live / theatre applications. The core with 8192 mono channels offers 512 DSP channels. With its comfortable sequence automation the mc²66 is well prepared for theatre applications. Further features of the mc²66 are the straightforward matrix and console configuration, advanced audio-follows-video with 128 events as well as parallel clean-effects summing.
New Features:
The Isolate Fader Bay allows working at the mc²66 with two sound engineers at the same time for different productions, e. g. one for the national and the other for the international sound. This is possible by isolating one or several fader bays from the main bank and layer switching and PFL and AFL monitoring.
Lawo’s new Fader Haptic Mode integrates faders and surround panning joysticks perfectly into your workflow. If you want to work with a fader notch at 0dB level or if you use a backstop PFL or if you need to have a joystick notch to relocate different surround panning positions - the new Fader Haptic Mode is the right thing for you.
The A/B input function is available for all input and monitor channels. It allows the toggling between two matrix crosspoints for one DSP channel.
A network of two or more mc²66 consoles permits to share I/O resources dynamically in each production. Two or more mc²66 mixers can be connected with dedicated netlinks (MADI, ATM, AES, analogue) so that, for the user, they appear as one routing matrix. The local sources and destinations can be shared with just one click from the signal list for the relevant signal.
zirkon radio on-air console / zirkonXL broadcast console
On show are also the zirkon on-air and zirkon XL broadcast consoles with the visualisation software “Vistool” for touch-screen operation.
The zirkon series especially excels by its workflow-adaptive surface which is freely configurable due to the requirements of the users. The modular design allows consoles with up to 40 faders, supporting multi-layer operation, interaction with radio automation systems as well as remote control possibilities for hard disk recording systems. And with the new release 2.6 the zirkon mixing console is improved once more by attractive features, including surround operation (5.1+2), direct-outs as well as the possible use of a Nova73 as external, remote-controlled matrix - whenever the 384 in/outs of the smaller Nova17 are not sufficient.
Besides, the zirkon series shows one of its fundamental strengths with its IP-based integration – networking together whole radio stations, including resource sharing and multiple studio operation.
Nova73 routing system
The Nova73 HD is our high-capacity audio matrix, designed for mission-critical signal transmission. It offers up to 8192 in- and outputs, with MADI, ATM and AES3 interfaces directly available at the core. Further interfacing possibilities are supplied by the proven DALLIS interface system which is used to integrate further formats and to realise decentralised, fibre-optic linked infrastructures.
Hot-plugging and online configuration allow you to service, equip, reconfigure and extend the system during operation even when you are on-air. Some further features are 96 kHz, Dolby-E compatibility and signal processing from simple gain adjustment to comprehensive processing like equalizer and limiter.
The Nova73 HD stands for highest reliability and is also available with the unique Dual Self-Healing Star topology.
