| INNOVATION GUI Version 2 Released Grass Valley, CA - The ISIS Group, Inc. announced the release of version 2.0 of the graphical user interface (GUI) for the INNOVATION by ISIS line of routing switchers. Version 2.0 of the GUI adds customer-requested features and improves usability. The GUI makes the INNOVATION line even more flexible, adding functionality not previously available. The newly re-designed GUI uses virtual control panels and provides on-screen, at-a-glance status of every element of one or more routers under GUI control. Status screens show the status of all levels for all outputs, allowing a depth of monitoring not possible with a physical control panel. "The GUI installation and configuration is quick, simple, and intuitive," according to Jeff Block, ISIS manager of IT. "Simply choose a router model and com port, and the system automatically provides a choice of all the virtual control panels available for that model." With the GUI, multiple routers can be added to the system, allowing the user to build different configurations, such as a 128x1 or an 8x64. Use it to set up, execute, and store salvos for future use. It features a command-line interface to allow easy integration with Windows applications like third-party controllers or automation interfaces. The GUI can control all the models in the INNOVATION family of Analog, SDI, RGBHV, and multi-format (SD/HD SDI) routing switchers. It runs on MicroSoft Windows 98 and above. ISIS will display the new GUI for the first time in booth SU3313 at NAB2007 in Las Vegas. |
