 | HaiVision Expands Facilities in Montreal
Montreal, Canada – August 12, 2004 – Montreal based HaiVision Systems Inc. announces the expansion of its Montreal operations and the opening of its new corporate headquarters, thus completing the transition initiated through its acquisition of Miranda Media Networks’ broadband video communication assets earlier in May.
“Our new Montreal facility allows HaiVision to accelerate product development efforts and support our global expansion strategies,” said Francois Gariepy, President of HaiVision systems. “We are investing in new products and the delivery of our next generation technology to our installed base in addition to targeting new markets”.
Building on the success of the MAC500 product line (now the hai500™ series), HaiVision delivers technology allowing real-time transport of extremely high quality video and audio streams over broadband networks. The quality and reliability of HaiVision’s products make them the solutions of choice for global corporate video communication facilities, state-wide distance education networks and other mission critical applications. The largest North American telecommunication carriers and service providers including top tier video service integrators have standardized their services around HaiVision’s products.
