America Elects Euphonix PALO ALTO, CA – October 31, 2008 On Tuesday November 4th, as the 2008 presidential election results roll in, broadcasters from the East Coast to the West Coast and around the world will depend on their Euphonix digital audio mixing systems to deliver up-to-the-minute results. With a solid reputation and guaranteed 100% ON-AIR redundancy for the DSP, surface components, and router, the Euphonix’ popular System 5-B and Max Air broadcast consoles have been the overwhelming choice of national and international television stations. Euphonix high-profile domestic clients include WFXT in Boston, WJZ-TV in Baltimore, WFAA and KTVT in Dallas/Forth Worth, and KOMO TV of Seattle. Broadcast news powerhouses, CNN and Fox News will both have a heavy reliance on Euphonix’ broadcast consoles to carry the event. But it’s news giant CNN, one of Euphonix’ largest broadcast clients, that will test the metal of the digital broadcasting system on Election night. Having a total of 14 Euphonix consoles installed in their Atlanta, Washington DC, New York, and Los Angeles facilities, CNN will simultaneously broadcast the evening’s events. "As any broadcaster will tell you, one of the heaviest demands on a TV station is always a national election when the need for resources is at its peak. These events are completely unpredictable.
