Al Teller Joins Board of Directors of of INgrooves
San Francisco, CA (January 14th, 2004) – Al Teller, the former Chairman & CEO of MCA Music Entertainment Group, including the record label and publishing division, and former President of CBS Records and Columbia Records has joined the Board of Directors of INgrooves. San Francisco-based INgrooves, a digital label and distribution company, is one of leading providers of Dance & Electronic music content to the digital music services such as iTunes, Napster, Rhapsody and MusicMatch and is represented by Manhattan Production Music for licensing of its music for Film and Television. In his role on the Board of Directors, Mr. Teller will lend his 30 years of music industry experience to INgrooves and continue to forward its goal of creating the dominant record label in the new digital era.

A highly respected music industry veteran, Mr. Teller held a series of executive positions with leading music companies after leaving MCA, Inc. in 1995. Upon his departure, Mr. Teller founded Red Ant Entertainment, a premier international record label, which merged with the music distribution company Alliance Entertainment Corp. in August of 1996. Mr. Teller served as Chairman and CEO, President and Director of Alliance Entertainment Corp until 1998. From 1998 through 2001, Mr. Teller was the founder and CEO of Atomic Pop, a cutting edge online record label and entertainment company, where he led the company’s direction, negotiated strategic alliances and partnerships, and oversaw all operations.
