 | da Vinci Systems Strengthens Marketing Team with Promotion of Tony Fox to Director of Marketing
CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. -- Feb. 7, 2005 -- daVinci Systems
today announced
that Tony Fox has been promoted to director of marketing from his previous
role as sales manager of eastern North America, a position he has held for
the past five years with da Vinci. Fox will work closely with da Vinci's
product management, engineering, and marketing teams - and also interface
with the company's customer base - to further enhance existing products and
identify new product opportunities.
"Tony has done a wonderful job building positive relationships with
customers, which comes easily to him because of his early experience in
post-production facilities as a senior manager, editor, and colorist," said
Bill Robertson, general manager at da Vinci. "His extensive knowledge of
the film and video color enhancement industry, plus a long and successful
history with da Vinci and our customers, gives him the tools to help keep
our Resolve, 2K Plus, and revival products at the top of the market."
Prior to his promotion, Fox was responsible for direct sales in eastern
North America and channel sales in eastern Canada. A veteran of the post
production field for more than 30 years, Fox came to da Vinci from Avid
Technology, where he managed the company's indirect sales channel in the
Mid-Atlantic, with a product portfolio that included the DS, Symphony, and
Media Composer product lines. He holds a degree in communications from the
University of Evansville.
