CrewStar celebrates 10 years

(Southborough, MA) CrewStar, Inc., the industry's premiere one-stop production crew resourcing and payroll service, has announced that it will celebrate its 10th year in business this fall. "This is quite an accomplishment for us", remarked CrewStar president, Lily Maiella. "We started CrewStar to bring order and formality to the relationship between freelance production crew and their employers - working in the best interests of both parties and building in protections for all involved. We've succeeded because we've made it easy for clients and crew to work with us, and because people trust the way in which we conduct our business."

CrewStar stresses value as it's primary distinction from other suppliers, and contend that their clients receive the most personalized, comprehensive and flexible service in the industry. "We routinely do the work that other suppliers push back on to their clients," adds Joe Maiella, Sr. VP, Marketing & Sales. "And, we can tailor booking or payroll services so that the client's needs come first. For example, our booking service can involve a single videographer to a full-equipped production team anywhere in the world. Ten years in business proves to us that clients value this approach."

As further evidence of their success, CrewStar also cites glowing testimonials from Fortune 500 to commercial production company clients. After CrewStar had supplied lighting and grip labor and 1-ton grip trucks in five US cities, a Detroit-based creative services company provided this unsolicited feedback. "All of your crews were A1+, which made our lives extremely easy. I really appreciated working with you and your team on this project, and I give you guys really high marks on finding top quality people, with good attitudes and excellent equipment. Thanks for making us look good!"

In another example, a NJ-based corporate media group has renewed CrewStar's 3-year contract to supply production services involving the full-time assignment of on-site producers and technicians citing their appreciation for "CrewStar's responsiveness in matching payroll service levels to our variable production volume."

Needing to capture interviews with key executives in Shanghai with less than 18 hours before the shoot, a US corporate media group called CrewStar's efforts "awesome". Drawing from its #1 list of international production resources and with special access to many of these crews, CrewStar was able to supply a camera crew in time for the assignment - despite Shanghai's time zone 12 hrs ahead of the US.
