 | Calibre HQView510 processor adds geometric correction and edge blending at InfoComm 2010
Bradford, UK, June 2nd, 2010 - Calibre UK Limited is pleased to announce the second of its new HQView500 series of image processors for professional AV applications.
The HQView510 is based on the HQView500 base model, adding geometry correction and edge-blending for multi-projector tiling on flat screens to an already impressive feature set.
“A combination of higher projector image quality and greater end-customer expectations has led to a big increase in the deployment of very wide screens using multiple projectors,” comments Tim Brooksbank, Chairman, Calibre UK.
“Our new HQView510 has been designed to make the tiling of these multi-projector setups easier and more accurate, with edge-blending capabilities being added to the multiple scaling, scan conversion, and switching functionality of the HQView500.”
Like the HQView500, the 510 model boasts 3G-SDI input and output capability, as well as backwards compatibility with HD-SDI and SD-SDI formats – making it suitable for use not just with the latest state-of-the-art video playback and projection products, but with legacy hardware as well. The processor will accept a wide range of HD, SD and computer inputs including DVI, HDMI, YPbPr/RGBS, VGA/RGBHV, S-Video, and Composite PAL, NTSC, and SECAM.
Along with the rest of the HQView500 series, the HQView510 will make its global debut at InfoComm 2010 in Las Vegas.
Calibre will be exhibiting at InfoComm on Booth N533 at InfoComm 2010.
