| John Bisset To Join BE Quincy, IL − Broadcast Electronics, Inc. announced today that veteran broadcaster John Bisset will join its marketing and sales team as BE’s Northeast Regional RF Sales Manager. Bisset has a rich radio background as a contract and chief engineer of 30 years and as sales manager for several major manufacturers, including Dielectric Communications. “I’m joining a team of experienced radio engineering professionals at BE who share my belief that engineering knowledge is critical, probably more so today than ever because of all the new opportunities with HD Radio™ implementation,” commented Bisset. A tireless promoter of engineering education, Bisset is best known for his article contributions and his work with the National Association of Broadcasters’ Transmitter Workshop held during the NAB Radio and NAB spring shows. He’s also a popular speaker at both SBE and state conventions. “I’ve always thought of John as a part of the team. This just makes it official,” said Tim Bealor, BE Vice President of RF Systems. “His systems expertise and strong background in RF will definitely benefit our customers.” Bisset will begin his new duties at BE on February 15 and will maintain an office in Manchester, New Hampshire, to service BE customers in Maryland, Delaware, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine. In addition to his sales role with BE, Bisset will build upon his longstanding relationship with the consulting engineering community as BE’s technical liaison to Professional Engineers. |
