 | Colorado Studios Selects Avitech’s Multi-Format Multiviewers for HD Production Truck Upgrade
April 16, 2007 - Redmond, Washington, USA – Avitech International Corp., a supplier of multi-image display processors announced today that Colorado Studios has purchased their industry-leading multiviewers for their recently upgraded HD production trucks.
Colorado Studios is a highly sophisticated Denver-based facility for SD and HD video production, with services including post production, studio production, mobile TV, on-location production, computer graphics, and other services such as; video & audio fiber-optic distribution. Under the agreement, Colorado Studios will outfit their state-of-the-art mobile production facilities with 55 MCC-8004U multi-image processors. The trucks will be used to produce and cover a wide variety of live events.
Avitech’s multiviewer modules will be used to visually monitor a wide array of incoming signals integrated seamlessly with a variety of production equipment. Signals are routed to the Avitech Multiviewers via a QuStream (Pesa) Cheetah routing switcher, which is being used along with a Grass Valley

“We chose the Avitech Multiviewers, because the picture is amazingly good,” comments Phil Garvin, President, COO, and General Manager of Colorado Studios and HDNet. “It's obvious that Avitech has spent time and money on the video quality as well as the splitting and positioning. For hidef this is essential."
“Avitech’s proven performance and flexibility is continuing to strengthen our share in the mobile truck industry,” states Bill Gray, Avitech’s Western Region Sales Manager. “Colorado Studio’s expansion is another example of how well suited our products are for these types of environments, which demand extremely high performance in a limited amount of space.”v
