AP Radio Scores Content Deal With Sirius's New NFL Channel

WASHINGTON, August 23, 2004 - Sirius Satellite Radio's all new NFL Channel just inked a deal with AP Radio that will license the use of the AP SportsPower content with complete coverage of all professional and college sports with voicer-length stories, actualities and correspondent reports. Also included are stories and final scores on important state and regional sports. To optimize delivery channels and timeliness, text is delivered via satellite, while audio is available via the Internet.

Beginning this season, Sirius will carry the entire regular season as well as select preseason matchups and playoff games. SIRIUS NFL Radio will provide the most comprehensive, in-depth radio coverage, including daily live shows hosted by legendary NFL figures, including Cris Carter, Dan Reeves, John Riggins and Shannon Sharpe. Each show will feature team-by-team reports, expert analysis, exclusive conversations with team personnel and sports insiders - and best of all, phone calls from football fans from around the country. The channel will also cater to fantasy football fans with a show dedicated to fantasy leagues every Friday.
