Some of the VTR / VCR remote control to edit controller / computer interfaces include serial to parallel and Sony to Ampex VTR protocol translators. All of the LTC / VITC reader / generator products are capable of working with both the SMPTE / NTSC (drop and non-drop frame) and the EBU / PAL time code standards. Also, the translator mode of some of the time code products can translate time code from LTC to VITC and / or VITC to LTC.
