| Winsted Corporation Since its inception in 1963, The Winsted Corporation has kept pace with industry changes with the development of innovative product concepts. What started as a modest line of products has grown and broadened in sophistication as well as in size. The growth of the company's product line has paralleled industry growth, driven by industry needs and demand. Many of the company's products were requested by customers and developed with their input. Winsted has consistently been the pioneer in product design and development. Our modular design systems, developed many years ago, have become the industry standard. Development of specialized products for the Security and Surveillance industry helped to further broaden our product line and expansion into new markets. A dominant factor in U.S. markets for many years, The Winsted Corporation began expansion into overseas markets in 1975, primarily into England. In 1976 the company began concentrated efforts to establish distribution in the Far East. Winsted's international distribution was firmly established in 1984 with the formation of Winsted, Ltd. in England. Since then, Winsted, Ltd. has grown to an on-going marketing and manufacturing facility serving the European, Middle East and African markets. In 1986 distributor agreements were established in Australia and Japan. As the growing video markets in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Korea became apparent, additional distribution was established in those areas. The Winsted business philosophy is simple: to create, develop and market new products for new applications in the video production, broadcast, security, power utilities and transportation Industries throughout the world. It is a philosophy that has brought the Winsted Corporation to its present position as a world leader in its Industry. Our commitment to customer service is what makes this work.
