| TV Magic
TV Magic started as the brain child of Stephen Rosen back in 1990. Steve formed TV Magic as a consulting company to help broadcasters and producers make the right technology choices. Steve's underlying vision was to create partnerships with his clients by understanding their businesses first. With Steve's background in television operations, he felt he had a lot to offer to clients who were sometimes too over-burdened with their own day-to-day jobs to keep up on the latest technologies.
In 1996, Steve met engineer Gus Allmann and worked with him for a time at a San Diego based dealer, Southwest Video. While there, they formed a partnership melding Steve's vision and operations acumen with Gus's technical knowledge and engineering experience. They soon decided to formalize their partnership under the TV Magic name. In 1996 they got their first major project as TV Magic designing and integrating a mobile production truck on the lot at CBS Studio Center. From there other successful projects followed and they were under way. Today TV Magic has more than 40 employees and two locations (San Diego and Los Angeles) and has completed over 200 projects for customers. We also have relationships with over 150 manufacturers.
