Gray Engineering Laboratories was established as a partnership in 1957 and was incorporated in 1978. The company has been involved in the design and manufacture of professional electronic equipment for the entertainment industry since 1972.
The standard line includes over twenty longitudinal and vertical interval time code products. Full-featured time code generators, readers, and character inserters provide code generate and read functions. Time code analyzers and code phase correctors solve many problems related to corrupted time code signals. User bit multiplexing and manipulating equipment expand the horizons of time code applications in the editing environment. Other post-production equipment includes character inserters and safe area generators.
All time code products are SMPTE and EBU compatible, and most video products are available in NTSC, PAL, or dual standard. All Gray products are backed by a five-year warranty.
